Some Gadgets Age Better Than Other Gadgets, says Kat Hannaford in an article for Gizmodo. The article includes a picture of a scratched iPhone.

2008 was a great year for me. I have really pleasant memories of it. Some of them are documented in form of photos, most of which, unfortunately, are on the hard drive of my old computer. It’s a long story, but, ever since I’m afraid of turning that computer on, lots of files are secure from accidental deletion by a completely retarded operating system, but also inaccessible. Wait, what?
Yesterday, I ‘shopped a new picture and named it Lolzzz. Creating it took just a few minutes, and it clearly isn’t the best thing I’ve ever done in Photoshop, but it’s my first image that comes in two different aspect ratios – 4:3 (at 1024×768) and 16:9 (at 1280×720). I made it first in 16:9 and then manually adjusted a copy of it to make it look just right in 4:3 as well. Also, I had good practice in using the pen tool.
Oh, almost forgot: the “featured image” option in WordPress is pretty cool, isn’t it?
As for the name, I suppose you can figure it out yourself why I named it like this.

Ah well. Have fun with it!

I have finally awaited the update of this epic WordPress plugin, which adds even MOAR random(ness) to my site. Now it’s going to have ten different taglines instead of just one (the one being “the daily struggle of a random guy”).
It will use an advanced artificial intelligence algorithm (AKA a random generator) to determine which tagline is more appropriate to that particular page load. Hope you don’t mind.
(Don’t worry, I’m not Google, I don’t collect users’ personal information and use it against them afterwards by means of targeted advertising and other annoyances. I merely let this plugin randomly select a tagline.)

The title about covers it. The blogging service Baywords is back, and my old blog is thus accessible again. I will update the posts I rewrote from my memory (this one and this one) with the original content. Also, I am going to keep the new ones archived for peace in my neurotic’s heart (and for readers to admire my amazing memory). I might use the old blog – if it doesn’t go down again – for rants and other stuff, keeping this blog for sharing my creations and stuff.

Update: All done. The posts got links to the rewritten versions as well (and the rewritten versions got links back to the original posts). ~ KsbjA
Two years ago, on a (presumably rainy) October day or two, I wrote a computer game. No, really. It’s cute, simple, and h4xX0r!$h. It’s called HackJB, and, well, it’s kind of a hacking game. It was released on November 1, 2008. Continue reading →
This afternoon, I ‘shopped a custom background image, which can be tiled horizontally. WordPress didn’t do quite well with the tiling (too wide image?), but it doesn’t really matter since the page itself covers the messed up spot. Continue reading →
No, I’m not planning to turn into a tree or something. What may sound as an awkward post title is actually the caption of one of my latest photos. Continue reading →

Ever played a Burnout game? They’re all about vehicular damage. I totally love the high quality damage models of the cars, the destructive style of racing, and the contrast of an expensive exotic ride on the one side and scratches, dents, and missing parts on the
other one.
And Ferraris? They are kinda awesome cars, unless you happen to live where there is no way to buy replacement parts. Then, you just gotta stick with the damage and wear it proudly instead.
Combine these two, and look what you get! Continue reading →
